11.55 SUNDAY: All finished, on the way back to Yeovil after a skin full of beer and wine last night. OFFICAL TIME: for the group was 23hours 15min. Time for the lead party i.e Andy, Steve, Kirk Jackson (ex YTFC player 2002), Dave & Stevo (Harogate FC) was 19hours 28min WELL DONE….should have £8,000 when all donations are in for Childrens wish. 5.00pm Saturday Morning, we have arrived at Scaffel Pike after driving down non-stop from Nevis, it took 6.5hours and did it rain all the way…
Sorry for not keeping you upto date but we’ve had comms problems up in those BIG HILLS, on the way to Wales, and will fill you in on whats been going on for the last 15 or so hours.

7.03pm FRIDAY: They should be back down about 10pm tonight all going well! and the a 5 hour drive to Scaffell Pike… sounds like lots of fun.

……………………………. 3.12PM: FRIDAY, 50min and they will be off to climb Ben Nevis, sorry for lack of coms over the last couple of hours but really bad signal, First climb is to start at 4pm and then 4-5 hour climb and back to the bus for a 5-6 drive to Scafell Pike. Speak soon Mike
12.30am: Friday morning, the day is over, the main stage is about to start in 7 hour when we pick the 9 other hickers, climbers!!!! up from the airport. Mike & Jason..
7.12pm: Have just had a text from Steve Newman that we are up to £7,356 in donations, this includes £1,000 from Mark Poster (TSB).. bring it on….. Mike & Jason in transit to Glasgow!!
7.00PM: 136mile to Glasgow!!!! Another coffee break, legs are starting to ache, just from driving…hope we find a hotel for tonight.
Hi all, 4hours into the drive, just got to Manchester!!!!
Van only drives upto 62mph, so it a long haul….
Will check-in when we get to Glasgow SATNAV still says 4hours to go..
We will fly with you next time…
